My Hero

I think it's hard to truly say who your hero is becauses so many people come in and out of your life and affect you in a positive way. However, there is one person who will always be in my life, my mother. My mother is my hero. She is such an inspiring woman due to her many talents. Ever since I was little, has done everything in her power to take care of me. Shes my confidant, my teacher, my best friend, the wind beneath my wings, my hero!

It's all about me!

My name is Maxine Lee Pincumbe. I am a sixteen year old girl who has many dreams and aspirations. I am the middle child of three. My older sister attends WSU and my younger brother is in 6th grade. A few things you might want to know about me is that I have run Anderson H.S. varsity cross country since my freshman year. I have run with my dad my whole life, and it is an amazing stress reliever. I love to shop...you can never have enough clothes. I have a boyfriend that I've been with for 14 months now. He attends Moller High School and is currently in Spain on an exchange program. He has taught me a lot! Last winter I learned to ski and this past summer I learned to sail. Next year, my senior year, I plan on attending the post-secondary program at Xavier University. I will continue my education, after graduation in 2011, at a major university and follow my dreams of becoming a lawyer. I know that my life has more in store for me than Cincinnati, and I plan to do all it takes to discover everything this life has planned for me! I also love quotes. My favorite quote is at the top of my page. During the summer I work at Coney Island. During the school year I work at Walgreens. I work 15 hours a week in the cosmetics department, and I find it to be surprisingly rewarding at times. One time I had the chance to help a woman, a breast cancer survivor, pick out her new hair color. Life is meant to be lived, so wake up every morning, don't hold grudges, and live as if it were your last day on earth!
